Artist Werner Glinka will be on-hand for a reception honoring his new exhibit at Flea St. Café on Saturday evening October 14, 2006 from 4:00-5:30 pm. Join us for wine and light appetizers and get a chance to view Glinka's contemplative, textured and layered work first hand.

Werner Glinka is a force to be reckoned with. He is a high-energy, high-tech marketing consultant with an uncompromising love of stark modernism. He exudes momentum.
Werner Glinka is also a gracefully unadorned spirit, sensitive to the beauty of the natural decay of nature around his home in the fog-shrouded Santa Cruz Mountains. In his art, these intuitively incompatible characteristics make lyrical sense together.

Glinka has been actively associated with the Pacific Art League in Palo Alto, California, for 3 years. He serves on its Board of Directors and marketing committee, and dispenses enthusiasm and positive stuff wherever he goes. His attitude toward his artwork is serious and playful. This is seriously his life’s work, and he plays, up to his elbows, in sand, ash, paint and various man-made and natural objects. More.
